How to Find Your Size

Leather gives: a slightly snug fit at first is normal and is the best starting point.

  • If you usually buy sneakers, order a half size smaller in leather boots and dress shoes.
  • If you already wear leather boots or dress shoes, order the same size you wear in those.
  • Women's Captain runs small - order a half size up.
  • Not sure? Free exchanges and returns on all footwear in the contiguous US.

Width Guide
  • Standard: choose this if you normally wear D (average) or E width shoes.
  • Wide: choose this if you normally wear EE or EEE width shoes.

Unless you typically wear EE/EEE widths, we recommend the Standard width. Width options are available on select styles.

Men's boots (Captain, Cadet, Cavalier, Explorer, President, Duke and similar leather styles) Order a half size smaller than you normally wear in sneakers, or the same size you wear in other leather boots or dress shoes. Smaller
Men's dress shoes (Aviator and similar) Order a half size smaller than you wear in sneakers, or the same size as your other leather dress shoes. Smaller
Men's sneakers (Premier) Fits true to size - order the size you wear most often. Larger
Women's Captain Order a half size up from your normal size. Larger
Women's Chelsea boots and booties (Duchess, Heartbreaker and similar) Fits true to size - order the size you wear most often. Larger

Fit varies by style. The size chart on each product page always shows the recommendation for that exact style.

Between two sizes and no note above? Order the smaller size for men's leather styles and the larger size for women's styles and sneakers.
